1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Lyrics Grid (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

2. Description of service

Lyrics Grid is a free, browser-based tool that searches publicly available song lyrics from third-party APIs (iTunes, LRCLIB, Lyrics.ovh), translates them using Google Gemini, and lets you export the result. We do not host any lyrics ourselves.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Translations are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate. Use the meaning as a guide, not as definitive interpretation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Abuse the rate limit or translation quota through automation, scraping, or multiple accounts.
• Republish translations in bulk or sell them without permission of the original rights holders.
• Attempt to access the Service's source code, infrastructure, or data you are not authorized to access.
• Use the Service to generate harmful, hateful, or misleading content.

4. Lyrics and copyright

All lyrics displayed through the Service are fetched from third-party sources. Lyrics are the property of their respective copyright holders and songwriters. Lyrics Grid does not claim ownership of any lyrics and does not host them on our servers.

Translations generated by Google Gemini are derivative works based on the original lyrics. If you are a copyright holder and want a specific song removed, please contact us and we will filter it from our search results.

5. Use of the Service

The Service does not require an account. You are responsible for any content you submit to the Service (search queries, optional API key) and for keeping that information secure on your own device. We reserve the right to rate-limit, throttle, or block abusive use of the translation API at our discretion.

6. Rate limits and fair use

Default users can perform up to 10 translations per day. Adding your own Google Gemini API key removes the limit. We may adjust these limits at any time to keep the Service sustainable.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party APIs (Apple iTunes Search, MusicBrainz, Deezer, LRCLIB, Lyrics.ovh, Google Gemini). We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these services. If a service goes down, parts of the Service may stop working until it recovers.

8. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. These ads are clearly separated from the tool and are labelled as "Advertisements" or "Sponsored". We do not endorse any products or services advertised on the Service.

Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or practices of any third-party advertiser. Any transactions, warranties, or claims related to advertised products or services are between you and the advertiser.

Advertisers may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on how advertising data is handled and how you can opt out of personalized advertising.

We do not host sponsored content, paid reviews, or affiliate links inside the tool's output. Translations and search results are produced algorithmically and are not influenced by advertisers.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of translations, the completeness of lyrics, or uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lyrics Grid and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including any interactions with third-party advertisers.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend the Service at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 4, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
